they had a lot of options for sandwiches and they tasted super good, the food plates looked delicious, will come back to try some of those too! 4/5 ⭐ because i feel like the ratio of bread – other ingredients could be improved :) but still very delicious!
I had the best charcuterie board ever at La Salumeria! The quality of the meats and cheeses was incredible, and everything tasted so fresh and authentic. It’s a small, cool place with a great atmosphere — definitely worth going out of your way to visit. I’ll 100% come back next time I’m in Rome! ???????? It’s worth to deviate from your itinerary to visit it!
Great and fast service! The staff wre so nice and lovely and the food was delicious! High quality produce in their sandwiches! I had the Gran Gourmet sandwich and my friend had the Contadino sandwich and both were so good (so good we forgot to take pictures! Would definitely recommend and come back!!
20 stars for this place. Smells like a dream when you walk inside, the ingredients are high quality and the prices are decent. Service was also thoughtful and fast. You must get one of their paninis, you won’t be sorry!
I stopped in for a mid-afternoon bite and ordered the Porcello sandwich. The generous portion of porchetta paired beautifully with the pecorino, and the bread itself was exceptional - really elevated the whole experience. I couldn’t resist adding a spritz to my order, and at €5, it was both perfectly made and a great value for Rome. With their extended hours, La Salumeria is convenient anytime you’re craving quality. Highly recommended!
La Salumeria isn't just a sandwich shop; it's a charismatic culinary experience that immediately became my favorite in Rome and the second-best I’ve found in all my Italian travels. Tucked away with a small, yet inviting and charming atmosphere, this spot perfectly blends a fresh, modern aesthetic with old-world charm, emphasized by the cured meats hanging on display. It’s the ideal locale for a casual date or catching up with friends over a glass of local wine and a delicious bite. My family and I managed to sample a fantastic selection, including the Keep Calm, Bacca Rossa, Williams, and Fico sandwiches, along with the generous Iberico Taglieri (charcuterie board). While everything was undeniably delicious, the Keep Calm and the Fico were the absolute standouts. The Keep Calm is a masterpiece of textural and flavor balance. It masterfully combines Prosciutto cotto with crema di radicchio, stracciatella cheese, cherry tomatoes (pomodorini), and rughetta (arugula). The creaminess of the stracciatella provides a luxurious base that is perfectly cut by the necessary acid from the tomatoes and the sharp, welcome bite of the red radish cream. It’s a composition that truly compliments itself and elevates simple ingredients to an art form. Not to be overshadowed, the Fico sandwich was another clear winner, thanks to the star element: the fig. Its rich, sweet flavor was absolutely delicious, providing an unforgettable sweetness that made the whole sandwich sing. Beyond the food, the service truly sets La Salumeria apart. The guys behind the meat slicers were exceptional—friendly, genuinely willing to help, and clearly passionate about the great food they create. If you’re looking for high-quality, perfectly balanced Italian sandwiches and charcuterie in a cozy, beautiful setting, this is the place. We highly recommend swinging by La Salumeria; you won't regret making it your own favorite Roman stop!
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Kelly, was friendly and helpful. I had the Pork in Progress and my wife had the Nordico, both were delicious. They also have a good selection of beers. We would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
What a place! The staff were super friendly to us, even though we know about two words of Italian and the food was amazing. The porchetta sandwiches were great but the best was the Maialina bruschetta, with porchetta, cheese and truffle. Fantastic. We will be returning!
